I created vector landscape with the adobe illustrator app. I first drew a sketch of my landscape just to get an idea of what I wanted to make my inspiration was Radiator Springs from the Disney movie cars . After that I started working on my background. I added a sky and rocky mountains and the rough sharp edges with the Pen tool. Make sure to add some color with the Stroke/fill option. Once I did that, I started to work on my middle ground. I added a water fall and a road which I made using the brush tool I also added tree's which I added using the image trace tool. Finally my foreground, I just decided to keep it simple and finish it off with a rock. For my sun I used the shape builder tool and filled it with a gradient, I also added a little effects by clicking of the "Fx" button and adding an outer glow.
